Or maybe some beautiful handmade ceramics? …wink wink??
With September almost over, it’s time to welcome October with open, uncovered arms! Up here in Brisbane, we’re packing away our jeans and knit jumpers to embrace our short shorts, summer dresses, sleeveless shirts and sunscreen – as well as our awesome outdoor craft markets!!!
Here are two October markets that I’m really excited about….
GREEN HEART FAIR – Sunday, October 12. 9am – 2pm.
From the website: “Green Heart Fair is Brisbane’s biggest FREE bi-annual community and premier sustainability event, promoting innovative green living in a fun, family-friendly environment for all residents to come and enjoy. More than 100 of our leading sustainability organisations, community groups, artisans, foodies, green-thumbs, conservationists, businesses and eco experts will be sharing information and knowledge with visitors on how to live more sustainably and offering vital tips to reduce rising cost of living pressures.”
I’m thrilled to be stall buddies with Sarah from I Make It for the event too!! The Fair is promising to be a fantastic day and there will be a large contingent of BrisStylers stallholders there.
BRISSTYLE TWILIGHT MARKET – Friday, October 24th.
5 – 9pm.
After missing out on the last twilight market, I’m itching to get back to King George square and show off some new products!
Teaming up with Jewellery by Kristine again, Kris just makes the Twilight markets so much fun and I love how our products work together and complement each other. The warmer weather combined with the joy of “hello dearest weekend, how lovely to meet you again” ensures that these markets have such a great vibe with so many happy stallholders and marketgoers!!
As always, my etsy shop is open in case you can’t pop into a market.
Also… In more local ceramics news, I want to promo Belinda Stanton’s (of Belinism) ‘Internal Happiness’ exhibition – her very own solo ceramic exhibition!!!
With the official opening this Friday night from 6pm, the show runs across the weekend at the White Canvas Gallery in Fortitude Valley.
You can read about exhibition at Belinda’s blog and check out all the gallery information here.
With a big smile for you, Rachel.
Thankyou lovely, hope I will see you there 🙂
Wonderful exhibition Belinda! It was great to chat just for that brief moment tonight 🙂
Can’t wait to share a tent with you at Green Heart! How exciting!!! Best get back to making!! 🙂
Making making making! That’s the theme right now 🙂
