To market we go!!

Just wanted to post up our upcoming markets…

*THIS SUNDAY – March 30th*
We’ll be sitting pretty with our suitcases at the Brisbane Powerhouse Suitcase Rummage between 1-6pm. Head to 119 Lamington St, New Farm and be rewarded with handmade pretties and recycled/upcycled beauties.
14a61-bloglogoTo make the day extra special, catch the CityCat along the river and take part in the Crafternoon Workshop and talk on the Performance Lawn, next to the actual market.

You’re encouraged to bring:
– BYO Craft projects and materials (this could be crochet, decorating jars, collage, writing, drawing, finger knitting, seed bombing, anything creative!)
– BYO rug and cushion / chair to sit on
– BYO imagination and willingness to craft!
– BYO healthy snacks to keep you crafting!

It’s free to attend the Crafternoon and the Suitcase Rummage as well!!
It’d be great to see you there – and if you swing by, be sure to say hello!!

*APRIL 4th – BrisStyle Twilight Market*
My very first BrisStyle market and I’m a little bit nervous to tell you the truth! BrisStyle won the Australian Craft Market of the Year in 2013 and their markets are always sensational! Dipping my toes into the amazing pool of stall-holders is exciting and terrifying.

So please do come and say hi – I’d really appreciate seeing some friendly faces!  It runs from 5pm to 9pm and that’s perfect if you’re leaving the city after work or heading into the city for dinner and adventures!

*APRIL 12th – BrisStyle Indie Market*
I’ve also signed up for the BrisStyle Saturday market in beautiful City Hall. This is an all day market (9am-3pm) and there’ll be some many beautiful things to be seen and purchased. Don’t leave your Mothers’ Day shopping til last minute – put this date in your diary and come along!

*MAY 3rd – Handmade Redcliffe*
I’m already looking forward to May’s ‘Celebrating Mum’ market at the bayside. With the sea-breeze, super friendly stall-holders and the super delicious little lemon co lemonade, its a great market to be a part of!

With all these upcoming markets, it’s no wonder I’ve been a little quiet here on the blog – spending a lot more time in the studio and fulfilling custom orders.

I’ve got a new bisque load about to come out of the kiln tomorrow and that means I’ll be up to my elbows in glaze for the next two days at least – after that, I’m hoping to share a bit more of what I’ve been working on.

With a big smile to you, Rachel.
